Georgia Kotretsos is a visual artist and researcher based in Athens, Greece. She has lived in Greece, South Africa and the States and has worked in several cities in Europe, North America and Africa. Her formal education is on the field of visual arts, she holds an MFA Degree from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a BFA Degree from the Durban Institute of Technology, in KwaZulu Natal. Parallel to her private practice she founded art related spaces and platforms where she undertook the responsibilities of fundraising, publishing and the public relations.
She is a member of The National Council of Greek Women (NCGW), and she currently lives in Athens, Greece.
